Welcome to Serene, created and co-written with Iona Ramsay, is a new satirical comedy musical, focusing on the intersection of capitalism climate change, with golden-age-meets-Sondheim style score. Built for a larger cast, this mid-scale musical balances the whacky with the heartfelt, and it is currently ready for production.
After winning the New Musical Theatre Award, Bethany and Iona developed the first iteration of Welcome to Serene with British Youth Music Theatre, opening at the New Wolsey Theatre in Suffolk.
