‘THREAD’ is a show about Paisley, with the story of two sisters, Ellie and Sarah Stewart, at the heart of it. Reconnecting after the loss of their mother, the Stewarts explore class disparity, queerness, and grief in this heartwarming and upbeat new musical. I particularly loved writing the ceilidh music for this show, and the queer unrequited love ballad Reap What You Sew. It was the first full musical I had ever created and it still holds a special place in my heart.
